We’re delighted to announce a brand-new range of charity cards and gifts with Cancer Research UK. Having already raised over £250,000 in the last four years for the charity through our ‘pennies in the basket’ scheme, we are extending our partnership further to raise more money with the addition of this newly launched range.
The range will see 30% of sales from cards and 20% of sales from gifts being donated to help fund this life-saving research. There will be a total of 24 card designs and 20 gifting items to buy, in support of Cancer Research UK.
This new selection of cards has been designed to help keep friends, families and loved ones connected. As is usual with Funky Pigeon, we will be offering personalised and non-personalised cards to choose from.
The card designs vary with some related to occasions such as birthdays to sympathy cards, as well as mindfulness and ‘thinking of you’ cards for anyone who is and has been affected by cancer. Our new gifting range works alongside the card offering to inspire mindfulness and positivity; we hope that the gifts can help to make someone’s day a little brighter.
We have been proudly partnered with Cancer Research UK for four years, and in that time our fantastic customers have helped to raise over £250,000. This money has gone towards crucial research into the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer as well as helping to spread awareness.
This amazing amount was donated by our ‘pennies in the basket’ scheme where customers can donate a few pence at the checkout every time they shop online at Funky Pigeon. Those basket roundups really add up, so we wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all the generous people who have contributed so far.
The partnership is something we at Funky Pigeon hope can further support the charity for many years to come. Our goal over the next three years of our partnership with Cancer Research UK is to raise over £1 million pounds for the charity. We’re hopeful that sales from our wonderful new range and the continuance of the ‘pennies in the basket’ scheme will help us to reach that target!
