Funky Pigeon & Tree-Nation: Buy One, Plant One Tree

Funky Pigeon is proud to be partnering with Tree-Nation, a tree-planting charity sponsoring planting trees across the world. So far, Tree-Nation has planted over 11 million trees and we’re excited to be joining the fight against climate change and promoting a healthy planet with our range of Buy One, Get One Tree greeting cards and Tree-Nation gift donation cards, which you can read more about below. To help kick things off and do our part, Funky Pigeon is committing to donate 2,500 trees each month, and for every card purchased from our new range, we’ll plant a tree on your behalf as well. Buy One, Get One Tree Cards: This range of nature-inspired greetings cards is perfect for birthdays, saying thank you, or simply letting someone know that you’re thinking of them – and the best part is, for every card purchased, a tree will be planted! So, when you send someone a card from this range, you’re also donating a tree on their behalf, helping to fight climate change to encourage a better world for the next generation. Gift Donation Cards (Coming soon): As well as our range of greeting cards, we’re also introducing gift donation cards. This is the perfect gift for friends or family who are passionate about the environment and can be purchased as an add-on to a card for £5 or £10. We’ll then send them your gift donation card along with their greeting card, containing information on the donation and how it’s being used to create a brighter tomorrow, planting trees, fighting climate change and much more. Did you know that a single tree can offset more than 250 KG of CO2 during its lifespan? This is essential as CO2 is the biggest contributing gas to greenhouse gas emissions which cause climate change. Trees help remove CO2 from the atmosphere by taking in and storing carbon and releasing oxygen which we breathe.

Deforestation also accounts for 17% of the planet’s CO2 emissions.
