Tasty One Pan Recipe

Our first recipe is an easy one-pan recipe that we love. It’s on the menu of an Italian restaurant in Bristol named Rosemario. The recipe is called the “Legendary Tommy’s 1 Pan”. So, how do you make it? Start by adding together ham hock, chopped sausage, onions, mushrooms and potatoes and cook them all in 1 pan. Use a pointy knife to check if everything is cooked and then crack two eggs on top. Add a small amount of grated cheese all over the pan and eat it with toasted focaccia bread on the side. It’s simply delicious!

Traditional English Brekkie

An old one but a good one – play it safe with the traditional English breakfast, surely a popular choice for most dads! Pack it with everything he likes such as bacon, beans, sausages, hash brown, buttered toast, mushrooms and fried eggs. It doesn’t get any tastier and traditional, right?

Breakfast Muffin Recipe

Muffins are so versatile; they can be used in either savoury or sweet recipes. From berry quinoa to spinach frittata or cheddar scallion muffins – to name a few – the options are endless, plus, the base mixture is so easy to make that even a child can make it.
All you need to do is add any ingredients you can find in the fridge and add a base mixture of flour, baking soda, eggs and milk. Get inspired with these fresh peppers frittata muffins below:

If you want more carbs with your protein in your breakfast, then we’ve found the perfect recipe: steak and eggs breakfast burritos. It’s from Laurie, an American food blogger at Simply Scratch, and it’s made of ribeye leftover steak, cheese, pepper, eggs, onion mushrooms and of course tortilla wraps. Find her full step by step recipe here, it only takes 30 minutes and serves four, so it will keep your dad full until lunch and beyond 😉

Vegan Breakfast Recipe

Pudding bowl, overnight oats, porridge, egg-free banana pancakes, Korean potato pancakes, or fruit smoothies, there are so many vegan breakfast recipes you can find everywhere. Our favourite being Jamie Oliver’s vegan blueberry pancakes. The stand out health ingredients in this recipe are the blueberries, flax seeds and apple cider vinegar. World-champion free-runner Tim Shieff is also a cooking enthusiast and made a step by step video of the recipe, take a look:

Vegetarian Breakfast Recipe

This recipe is from BBC Good Food; it’s a twist on the classic brunch dish, eggs Florentine. It replaces spinach with purple sprouting broccoli, and it’s served on a slice of sourdough bread. It’s very straightforward to make because it only requires sprouting broccoli, two eggs, sourdough bread, mustard and lemon juice. Find the delicious recipe method here.
